Grant Park (Şikago) 'de Chicago

Grant Park ABD'nin Illinois eyaletine bağlı Şikago kentinde bulunan bir parktır. 1,29 km²'lik bir alana yayılan park Millennium Park, Buckingham Fountain, Art Institute of Chicago ve Museum Campus'ü içine almaktadır. Geçmişi kentin kuruluşuna dek uzanan ve eskiden Lake Park olarak bilinen yapı 1901 yılında yeniden adlandırılmıştır.

Right in the heart of the city. A must walk day or night. Lot's of greenery, great views of Lake Michigan and the city. Special events going on all the time. Buckingham Fountain sits within.

The park is the largest green space in the city and the best place to see all the non-green spaces surrounding it. It hosts many events throughout the year and there are many more ways to get here.

We are very lucky to have Grant Park so close to the campus. Relax in between classes and watch the beautiful Buckingham fountain.

Did you know? Grant Park dates back to the 1830's and is one of the oldest parks in the city. It's historically significant for hosting the 1893 World Exposition and being a site along Route 66.
